I've figured out that if I add the TV quality option to the end of the get-iplayer command, it works and file size is much better.
But running get-iplayer --tvquality=sd doesn't write to a conf file...

I was on 22.04, but did a clean install yesterday of 24.04, and so far have been really impressed with the performance.

Thanks tea for one, but I've tried the default settings, and it still results in 2.5gb
It used to be less than 1gb 😞

So after trying UserLAnd on an ol' tablet and paying £1.99 for the privilege I can confirm it sucks. You get a desktop environment and open terminal, no apps installed and doesn't seem able to...

It may be worth looking at UserLAnd in the Google apps store, gets good reviews.

No, k3b will sort it out for you. Just start a new audio cd, add tracks and burn

I have no issues with it in Ubuntu only arch based.
Buntu just sees it and everything works.
Glad I gave up, I've run out of goats ��

After trying an arch based distro and finding that scanner didn't work unless you sacrifice a goat at the full moon, went back to m$.
